My care by the screening services the hospitals i visited during my treatment within the trust was of the highest standard. the processes operated like clockwork down to the finest detail and they were always patient focused. I had to visit three separate hospitals and probably dealt with thirty plus individual medical staff who were professional, polite and caring including the lady who served meals and tea on the ward. Particularly on the ward the staff were working under pressure but always worked in a calm and purposeful way. This service is operating at the highest level of efficiency in my opinion. From initial diagnosis to discharge from hospital was approximately six weeks which was what was needed and all that could be asked for.

The team in the haematology day room is absolutely fantastic & should be commended on their work. They are a shining example of how to combine professionalism, friendliness & teamwork, to make the patient feel comfortable & cared for. Against the tough NHS conditions we face, this is even more impressive. Thank you to the whole team!
